The Forged Intense Santoku knife 14 cm is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word "santoku" means "three virtues", a reference to the three cutting functions that the knife can perform: slicing, dicing and mincing. This diversity makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. The Forged Intense knives are manufactured out of Japanese 440C Steel with a hardness level of 58 Rockwell.
